Martin Brudnizki Design Studio re-imagined Fortnum & Mason’s original Fountain Restaurant with a design that fuses the heritage of the iconic department store with the glamour of contemporary London.

Situated on the corner of Duke Street and Jermyn Street, the 113-cover restaurant stands as a destination restaurant in its own right. Seeking inspiration from Edward Bawden’s original illustrations for the Fountain Restaurant, 45 Jermyn St.’s colour palette reflects the history and heritage of the iconic store, with the inclusion of the classic mint green. Draped window blinds hark back to the original window design whilst beaten mirror textured walls and additional antiqued mirrors lend a layered touch.
