MBDS presents two redesigned suites at the Grand Hôtel Stockholm, marking the studio's first Swedish project.

Named the Flag and Rooftop Suites, MBDS designed two spaces that feel relaxed and residential, providing guests with the perfect balance of laid back glamour and world class service that the Grand Hôtel is known for.

With each suite accessed via its own entrance, guests arrive via the lobby which leads onto a marble clad bathroom, living area and bedroom. Dressed in rich fabrics, geometric patterns and pops of colour, each suite feels fresh and welcoming. With either a colour palette of green and yellow or blue and pink, the suites are playful whilst utilising the very best in materials, such as mohair velvet, marble and linen. A small kitchenette in the Flag Suite lends convenience whilst a bespoke bar cart in the Rooftop Suite ensures guests are served well.

A bold use of colour and pattern has been used throughout with velvet and fabric upholstered seating, geometric rugs and block-colour furniture. Both bedrooms features a bold graphic-printed fabric wall covering which is offset by pops of vibrant, complimentary colour, brass detailing and objet. Each suite incorporates the hotels original porthole-style windows giving guests enviable views out across the Royal Palace.

A relaxed lounge area provides guests with a private space in which to unwind with comfortable upholstered seating, including a statement sofa and bright overhead lighting. The suites can be made into one large suite thanks to connecting doors or alternatively they can be reserved as separate spaces.
